Let's get this started. The Freaking Giants

First and foremost, I've never read a blog and don't know much about them.  I am just trying to find an avenue to talk sports and welcome any one else who wants to argue their point. I'm going to try to keep my posts as clean as I can.  With that said, let's get into it.  The Freaking Giants. They absolutely Kill me.  I'm going to say something I haven't heard anyone else say about the Giants.  Their Defense is not all that good.  There basic game plan for the last 20 years has been, our 'vaunted front 4' get pressure and our suspect secondary and sometimes decent most of the time so so linebackers try cover for 3-4 seconds.    There are several problems with that relying on a traditional 4-3 to get constant pressure without blitzing.  Sacks aren't as common as you think.  So relying on your front 4 to get pressure every play is like relying on Home Run hitting to win a World Series, or relying on just hitting 3 pointers to win an NBA Finals.  It's just too much to ask. Plus, these guys can't keep coming every play all Honestly, the Giants D was at its best when we had Spagnolia at coordinator.  This is because he learned from the late great Jim Johnson, how to blitz at the right time.  As you can see, the Eagles haven't been the same since as well.  Bottom line, Perry Fewell needs to go and the Giants have to hire a more creative coordinator that is willing to bring some creative blitzes and pressures.   They need to continue to draft secondary and dynamic linebackers. What doesn't help is the injury to Ahmad Bradshaw and the reemergence of the Tip Top Bandit, Brandon Jacobs.  The Giants have lost all commitment to the run, especially having to rely on Jacobs soft, big bafoon tail carry your running game just isn't going to work.  This guy's heart was lost after years of pounding on his knees and thighs from running too high.
